Privacy at OperaStack

This Privacy Policy explains how OperaStack handles information when people use the OperaStack platform, website and connected services. It includes specific disclosures about Google account and Gmail data used by the OperaStack Gmail integration.

Information OperaStack processes

Depending on the features a workspace uses, OperaStack may process account details, company and contact records, opportunities, communications, appointments, jobs, workflow data, files, billing and subscription information, usage information, and information a user imports or connects from third-party services.

Google account and Gmail data

When a user chooses to connect a Google account, OperaStack may access basic Google profile and email-address information and Gmail data available through the permissions the user approves. For the Gmail integration, this can include message and thread metadata, message content, labels, drafts, attachments, mailbox history and synchronization information.

How OperaStack uses Google user data

Google user data is used to provide user-facing functionality such as showing email history in CRM records, synchronizing Gmail activity, displaying and downloading attachments, preparing and managing drafts, sending email, replying to messages, maintaining mailbox synchronization and carrying out actions requested by the user.

Where a user explicitly uses an AI-assisted OperaStack feature on selected business or communication content, the relevant content may be processed only as necessary to provide that requested feature. OperaStack does not sell Google user data or use Google user data for advertising.

Storage and service providers

Information synchronized from connected services may be stored in OperaStack systems so the platform can provide CRM history, search, communication, synchronization and related workspace functionality. OperaStack may use infrastructure, security, communications and technology service providers acting on its behalf where reasonably necessary to operate, secure and support the service or provide a feature the user has requested.

Data retention and deletion

OperaStack retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide connected functionality, maintain workspace records, meet legal or operational obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Disconnecting a Google account stops future authorized access after the connection is revoked, subject to normal token and synchronization processing. Information previously synchronized into an OperaStack workspace may remain until it is deleted through applicable workspace, account or support processes.

Your choices and controls

Users can choose whether to connect a Google account and can revoke OperaStack access from their Google Account permissions. Requests concerning access, correction or deletion of personal information can be made through https://operastack.com/contact.

Security and workspace access

OperaStack uses authenticated user accounts, workspace-based permissions and server-side access controls to help separate business environments and restrict access to connected information.

Google API Services User Data Policy

OperaStack's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

OperaStack limits its use of Google user data to providing and improving user-facing features that are visible and relevant to the user, security and abuse prevention, and other uses permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy.
